Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
+ Evaluating existing processes and configuring operational systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop standard processes
+ This position liaises with business leaders to identify, assess, and analyze opportunities for continuous improvement, directly interacts with business teams to align training and improvement plans with their strategic objectives, and ensures that the value stream has clear ownership within the business to drive execution.
+ Lead utilization of continuous Improvement for the all functions
+ Deliver training in the PPI Business System such as lean leadership, value stream mapping, kaizen, daily management, waste and variation elimination, material flow, standard work, cellular flow, SMED, 5S, visual management, lean sourcing, lean office, built-in quality, etc.
+ Act as a change agent and constantly challenge the norm.
+ Run and facilitate continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events to improve productivity and accelerate growth.
+ Collect & record training and project improvements. Align projects to support business needs and targets.
+ Partner with Finance personnel to evaluate project savings estimates, validate reported PPI benefits, and ensure accurate accounting of PPI Productivity.
+ Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes, evaluate and improve on processes in Value Stream, and develop innovative solutions
+ Optimize existing equipment, processes, and standard work to increase yield, reduce defects, and increase production efficiency.
+ Research, acquire, and qualify equipment to alleviate manufacturing bottlenecks, and recurring issues.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
+ Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma/ GED
+ 3+ years manufacturing experience required
+ 2+ years of Lean or Continuous Improvement, Leadership, Training, Facilitation, training/experience
+ Shown leadership experience and ability to successfully communicate at all levels of the organization.
+ Interpersonal skills
+ Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to master a variety of software applications (SAP, Brainshark)
+ Flexibility to work various schedules to meet the business needs.
+ Working conditions require the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, lift up to 20 lbs.; occasionally lift 40 lbs. and work at a computer station and on manufacturing shop floor.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Six Sigma certification
