    Required Education/Experience

    + Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience. or

    + Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience.

    Preferred Education/Experience

    + Bachelor's Degree In Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.

    + Master's Degree In Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.

    Relevant Work Experience

    + Minimum 8 year's experience in power engineering, transmission planning analysis, energy markets, operations, or compliance management with experience preferred in the review, development and management of NERC and NPCC electric reliability standards and criteria. Required

    + Demonstrated leadership abilities Required

    + Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Required

    + Computer proficiency and the ability to direct the usage of electronic applications Required

    + Ability to present technical issues and topics to senior executives Required

    + Knowledge of integrated bulk electrical systems, transmission, distribution, and generation, including knowledge of substation layout, design and configurations. Preferred

    + Strong knowledge of electric reliability concepts and fundamentals. Preferred

    Licenses and Certifications

    + Driver's License Required

    + Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred

    Additional Physical Demands

    + The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

    + Must be able and willing to travel to all locations in the Northeast, including Canada.
