Overview

Intuit is seeking a highly analytical and communicative Staff Business Data Analyst to join the Finance Analytics & Systems team. This role offers the opportunity to creatively solve complex business challenges and deliver impactful, company-level analytics that support effective decision-making for leadership. What you'll bring

+ 6+ years of experience in a data analytics role.

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.

+ Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and performance tuning. Experience with Databricks and data integration.

+ Familiarity with AWS (Redshift, Athena); knowledge of Python, Javascript, and Groovy is a plus.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with colleagues across the business with varying technical expertise.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for creating efficient, maintainable, and scalable data solutions.

+ Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for business enhancement.

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

+ Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM and data visualization tools (Qlik or Tableau) is a plus.

How you will lead

+ Partner with teams across FP&A to understand their analytics needs and deliver end-to-end data solutions.

+ Collect and analyze data from diverse sources (databases, spreadsheets, external sources).

+ Develop and maintain data models and algorithms.

+ Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

+ Design and implement data collection systems to optimize data quality and efficiency.

+ Provide recommendations to improve data collection and analysis processes.

+ Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques and tools.

+ Build subject matter expertise and finance acumen.

+ Narrate complex data stories concisely, highlighting insights and their impact on business outcomes for leadership and stakeholders.

+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines.
