Systems Engineer, Senior

On our team of experienced professionals, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to deploy cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal AWS you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients' problems, and you'll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. You Have:

+ 6 + years of experience with deploying applications on Windows and Linux operating systems

+ 3 + years of experience with Cloud computing, including Amazon Web Services GovCloud or Commercial

+ 2 + year s of experience with leading a team of engineers

+ Experience with Agile processes and ceremonies

+ Experience in scripting tools and languages, including Ansible, Terraform, or Python

+ Secret clearance

+ Bachelor's degree

+ IAT Level II 8570 Certification, including Security+

Nice If You Have:

+ Experience with supporting engineering tools, including 3 Dexperience, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCente r , TeamCente r , MATLAB, or STK or CAD tools, including CATIA or SolidWorks

+ Experience in standing up and configuring engineering tools on new and existing infrastructure

+ Experience in developing and automating tools and infrastructure in the Cloud

+ Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread

+ Knowledge of DoD Security best practices and compliance requirements

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
