Job Summary
Reporting to the Registrar and Manager, Undergraduate Education the Curriculum Assistant supports the daily operations, events, and academic programming efforts of theSchool of Kinesiology (https://www.kines.umich.edu) . As a member of a collaborative team, you will provide administrative and logistical support for course registration, student enrollment, and academic initiatives. Responsibilities include processing overrides for internships, independent studies, and other special enrollment requests; manage calendars and meeting logistics; and support projects focused on student retention and academic integration.
You will coordinate syllabus collection and archiving, assists with awards processes, and handles classroom reservations and event logistics. The Curriculum Assistant serves as a secondary contact for registration workflows and works with faculty, staff, students, and campus partners.

Responsibilities*
+ Work as part of a team to support the day-to-day operations, initiatives, events, and programming efforts of the SoK Office of Undergraduate Education
+ Provide regular calendar assistance for the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education by coordinating and scheduling meetings, including room logistics and remote attendance (Zoom)
+ Provide occasional meeting coordination as requested by the Registrar and Manager, Undergraduate Education or Curriculum Specialist
+ Provide administrative support to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and Office of Undergraduate Education
+ Process expense reimbursements
+ Support Curriculum Specialist and Office of Undergraduate Education with awards processes
+ Help with (August) Fall Teaching Meeting (catering and administrative support)
+ Lead contact for internship and independent study overrides
+ Secondary contact for kines registration workflow- intake through resolution
+ Process batch overrides as requested
+ Non-Curricular Classroom Reservations:
+ Manage non-curricular classroom reservations and communicate with faculty, staff, student groups, the U-M Registrar's office, and the facilities team
+ Log all room requests into Trello that are initiated in the Qualtrics room reservation form
+ Request, collect, and archive syllabi for Kinesiology and University repositories
+ Student retention projects
+ First semester student projects
+ Investigate potential student enrollment concerns
+ Provide project support to the Associate Dean and Office of Undergraduate Education as needed.
Required Qualifications*
+ High school education or equivalent
+ 2 years of progressively responsible administrative and project work experience
+ Experience independently managing cyclical workflows, timelines, and documentation efficiently.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

This position is based in Ann Arbor, MI, and will have the option for either a fully on-site or a hybrid work schedule (up to 2 days remote/week, with Wednesdays being a required in-office day).
