    With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

     

    The Ambulatory Surgery department provides a wide array of surgical procedures and care in an outpatient setting. Patients requiring attention for medical conditions that can be treated without overnight admission to a hospital are attended to by our team of general and specialized surgery professionals. We offer state-of-the-art technology, comfortable surroundings and health care staff who are skilled, knowledgeable and sensitive to patient's needs.

     

    As the Ward Clerk, you will form an important part of the team that provides our quality nursing care services at Pali Momi. You will be coordinating activities at the nursing station and perform non-nursing and clerical functions on an intra and inter-departmental level. We are looking for someone with outstanding patient care and organizational skills, an appreciation for procedure and protocol and a commitment to our vision of delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

    **Minimum Qualifications:** High school or equivalent.

    **Preferred Qualifications:** Post-high school vocational/specialized training. Medical terminology course. Medical office procedures course. Six (6) months clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
