Drive the Future of Insurance Data Transformation Are you a seasoned data expert with a passion for solving complex migration challenges in the insurance domain? We’re looking for a Senior Lead Data Analyst to spearhead critical enterprise data migration initiatives from legacy IMS/DB2 mainframe systems to Guidewire ClaimCenter v10.0.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in high-impact environments, excels at technical execution, and has the ability to drive clarity and results across globally distributed teams.

What You’ll Do Data Migration Strategy & Execution:

+ Lead the end-to-end design and execution of robust ETL workflows using a custom framework built in Python and Kotlin.

+ Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from legacy systems to Guidewire.

Hands-On Technical Development

+ Develop and optimize ETL scripts using Java, Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.

+ Implement complex data transformations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high performance.

Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting

+ Write and refine advanced SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.

+ Investigate and resolve data quality issues, ensuring high data fidelity throughout migration.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

+ Guide and mentor both onshore and offshore teams; provide technical oversight and best practices.

+ Act as a key liaison between internal teams and client stakeholders to align technical delivery with business objectives.

Client-Facing Planning & Analysis

+ Collaborate with clients to assess legacy data systems, identify migration gaps, and design scalable solutions.

+ Drive migration planning, prioritization, and reporting to meet tight project timelines.

System & Data Architecture Understanding

+ Deep-dive into Guidewire ClaimCenter data models to ensure proper integration and alignment with business needs.

+ Analyze data from multiple sources and recommend appropriate transformation strategies.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

+ Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for ETL logic, data mapping, and system integration.

+ Lead team walkthroughs and provide hands-on support for deliverables.

What You Bring

+ 10+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, ETL development, and large-scale data migration projects.

+ Strong background in the insurance domain, particularly with legacy mainframe platforms (IMS/DB2).

+ Deep expertise in Java, Python, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Shell).

+ Proven track record working with or migrating to Guidewire ClaimCenter v10.0.

+ Demonstrated experience leading distributed development teams, including offshore coordination.

+ Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
