Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking Geotechnical Engineers with 2 to 15+ years of experience for our Sterling, VA office.

Geotechnical Engineer - Required Experience:

+ Prior construction observation and testing experience

+ Earthwork, foundation, and construction materials observation and testing.

+ Subsurface investigations including borings and test pits, reviewing exploration logs, lab results, and plans.

+ Preparation of geotechnical reports

+ Retaining wall design

+ Slope stability analysis

+ Pavement Design

+ Review of subsurface conditions and foundation design

+ Project management (mid to senior level candidates)

Geotechnical Engineer - Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree in geotechnical engineering or civil engineering

+ PE - Professional Engineer License (senior level candidates)

+ EIT - strongly preferred

+ Excellent writing and communication skills

+ AutoCAD experience preferred
