    Summary:

    At Meta Reality Labs, we’re developing the future of augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality(MR). As an RF Engineer focused on wireless consumer devices, you will have the opportunity to work on the intricate and complex challenges impacting product design to deliver state of the art wireless.

    Required Skills:

    Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Architect RF front-end for cellular and connectivity technologies

    2. Design,develop and optimize RF hardware circuits for consumer electronic products

    3. Review product designs such as schematic, PCB layout

    4. Perform RF link budget analysis and debug RF issues in the lab

    5. Responsible for part selection, prototyping and factory bring up

    6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure RF performance is met at component, board and system level

    7. Perform EM simulations using tools like HFSS, ADS to optimize design

    8. Domestic/international travel as needed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    9. Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

    10. 6+ years of experience in wireless consumer electronics/RF component design or equivalent experience

    11. Experience designing RF circuits for cellular and connectivity products and familiarity using RF test equipment

    12. Familiarity in RF schematic and PCB layout best practices

    13. Familiarity using EM tools to optimize RF design

    14. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Radio Frequency (RF) circuits or RF system design or Electromagnetics

    15. 6+ years of work experience in designing Cellular RF hardware solutions for consumer electronics

    16. Experience in Cellular RF design, optimization and validation

    17. Proficient in wireless communication standards

    18. Proficient in one or more RF and electromagnetic simulation tools such as ADS (Advanced Design System), Ansys, CST (Computer Simulation Technology) etc

    Public Compensation:

    $139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
