    The Opportunity:

    Join CACI as the prime contractor on a growing program supporting NAVSEA 03D3 Digital Program Office as a Database Administrator supporting the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission-critical program that supports over 45,000 users executing naval ship and submarine maintenance operations worldwide.

    Responsibilities:

    + Support database administration tasks for computerized databases

    + Assist in installing databases onto appropriate computer operating systems

    + Help create databases and configure them for data warehousing applications

    + Support the creation of database objects including Indexes, Clusters, Snapshots, and Views

    + Assist with management of Rollback Segments and Data File Size

    + Write basic code for update queries

    + Update data dictionaries as new fields are added to databases

    + Maintain data correction logs with proper documentation

    + Support database performance monitoring activities

    + Assist with backup and recovery operations

    + Document database procedures and configurations

    + Work under general supervision to support database operations

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

    + 0 to 5 years of experience in database administration

    + Basic knowledge of database concepts and procedures

    + Understanding of SQL fundamentals

    + Knowledge of database backup and recovery principles

    _Desired:_

    + Experience with DoD/Navy systems

    + Entry-level database certifications

    + Knowledge of database performance basics

    + Understanding of data security principles

    + Basic scripting abilities

    + Familiarity with database documentation practices

    + Experience with database monitoring tools

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $53,100-$106,300
