The **Digital Technology Services (DTS) Lead User Interface User Experience (UI/UX) Designer** designs intuitive and engaging user interfaces for software products at Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). Works closely with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to create tools and products that are user-friendly and meet customer needs.

**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required** :

+ Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, and/or applicable technical certificate, and/or equivalent related experience.

+ Minimum of 4-7 (or 8+ if no degree) years of experience as a User Interface User Experience (UI/UX) Designer.

+ Able to share a portfolio with examples of user interface designs you created.

+ Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.

+ Proven ability to design user-centered interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically clean.

+ Excellent collaboration skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Experience working with stakeholders and analysts to discover, refine, and prioritize features.

+ Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Sketch.

+ Attention to detail, critical thinking, desire to learn, and intellectually curious.

+ Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

+ Agile work process.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred** :

+ Experience as a graphic designer, product manager, or project manager.

Starting at $131,144.00 Annually
