About the Role:

This flexible and dynamic "rover" role offers a unique opportunity to cross-rain and support multiple servicing functions across the department. You'll assist whatever the need is greatest from loan documentation and funding to data input and reporting. No two days are alike, and your ability to adapt,leannew systems, and quickly contribute will be highly valued. This is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys variety, continuous learning, and making a direct impact across teams. Previous experience in loan servicing is required,bringa growth mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.

+ Performs loanservicing activitiessuch as general loan maintenance, processing loan payments, data entry, loan document creation, lien perfection, escrow/tax support, flood review or general ledger.

+ Responsible for understanding complex retail loan products, required documentation, workflow, regulation, policy and procedure changes.

+ Maintain knowledge through coursework and on-the-job training.

+ Perform work accurately and within assigned deadlines.

+ Captures metrics to assist Leadership in coordinating and adjusting workflow.

+ Responsible for participating in continuous improvement efforts to assist in the implementation of workflow improvements.

+ Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

+ Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

+ Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

+ May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

+ Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

+ Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.

About** **You:

+ H.S. Diploma/GED.Required

+ Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience. Preferred

+ 4-7 yearsof advanced retail loan servicing or equivalent experience.Required

+ Possess advanced working knowledge of retail loans, regulations, policies and procedures.

+ Demonstrated advanced math, analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

+ Possessexcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

+ Advanced proficiencyofcomputer software including Word, Excel, loan servicing systems and other office equipment.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and determine bestworkflowpractices

+ Demonstrated critical thinking with ability to work in a service-oriented environment with high work volumes and deadlines.

Thepayrange for this role is $26.00- $30.00,and the pay rate for theselected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
