Job Summary
Quality Assurance Auditor I
+ Conduct audits of revenue cycle team members’ work across departments to ensure accuracy and compliance; provide detailed feedback and education following audits to improve team performance.
+ Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for revenue cycle departments; collaborate with Education teams to communicate new or revised workflows effectively.
+ Partner with departmental leaders to identify issues uncovered during audits and help implement corrective solutions.
+ Perform data accuracy audits, including scheduling, registration, charging, coding, billing, and collections processes, to ensure integrity across revenue cycle functions.
+ Analyze audit data, develop statistical reports, and maintain an auditing database to document findings and generate comprehensive reports for management review.
+ Leverage a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations to expedite quality auditing and data analysis processes.

Qualifications
Education: High School or GED required.
Experience: Minimum one year of Revenue Cycle required. Minimum two years of Revenue Cycle preferred.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Competent to work on auditing assignments individually or in a team with little supervision by taking initiative and being self-motivated. Proven analytical ability and organizational skills necessary to organize/assess quality assurance based on data analysis. Ability to act on a suggested approach with direction and feedback. Maintains and demonstrates professional competency. Complies with organization and department policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
