    Job Summary

    The Phlebotomy Tech Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the phlebotomy team. This position ensures high-quality patient care, adherence to safety and compliance protocols, and efficient specimen collection processes. The Lead works collaboratively with lab staff, providers, and administrative personnel to support optimal laboratory operations.

    Qualifications

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

    + Experience:

    + Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, required.

    + 1+ year lead role, preferred.

    + Licensure/Certification: National Phlebotomy Certification (e.g., ASCP, NHA, NCPT), required.

    + Additional Skills Required:

    + Knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and electronic health records (EHR).

    + Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
