    Your role and responsibilities

    Your roles & responsibilities:

    As a Digital Sales Specialist you'll become a trusted go-to expert. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team - advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions.

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

    * Forecasting and Deal Closures: Predicting deal closures and effectively communicating forecasts.

    * Opportunity Identification: Assisting your team in identifying up/cross-sell opportunities within your territory.

    * Collaborative Campaigns: Collaborating with IBM Marketing and Sales to develop new business campaigns.

    * Use-Case Development: Creating use-cases and proofs of concept in response to client RFIs.

    * Value Proposition Presentation: Compellingly presenting high-level value propositions.

     

    Required technical and professional expertise

    Required Experience:

    Work with Hiring Manager to ID up to 5 bullets max. You can get inspired by these few examples below.

     

    * Consultative Tech Sales: Demonstrated experience in consultative tech sales, particularly for complex cases.

    * Digital Sales Proficiency: Proficiency in using digital sales tools and techniques.

    * Effective Communication: Exceptional communication skills in both writing and speaking.

    * Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with a focus on using data for decision-making and achieving positive business outcomes.

     

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    * Data & AI Market Knowledge: In order to consult and advise, and quickly grow your reputation as your clients' credible, trusted advisor (training on IBM's Data & AI offerings will be provided).
