Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking an Operations Support to join their team. As an Operations Support, you will be part of the infrastructure team supporting various technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

+ Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of infrastructure solutions.

+ Provide and communicate technology solutions across differing audiences including technical and managerial staff.

+ Lead the resolution process for problems requiring evaluation of various factors.

+ Establish input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

+ Support multiple projects and activities related to special initiatives or operations.

What's Needed?

+ 5 or more years of console operations work experience in a large-scale multi-platform data center.

+ Expert knowledge of JES2 and MVS command sets and console operations.

+ Ability to navigate and provide operator level control over CICS.

+ Familiarity with standard mainframe tools such as MAINVIEW, Omegamon, and Tivoli.

+ Experience with ticketing tools such as BMC Remedy.
