Summary:

Results-oriented professional committed to building a successful career in software development. Ability to develop custom software applications and update existing programs to refine components. Effective interpersonal skills: work well as part of a team with people at all organizational levels and diverse backgrounds. Equally successful working independently on time-sensitive projects and tasks. A higher level Engineer role is available with commensurate experience,GW cloud experience and certification is a plus

Responsibilities:  

+ Reads and interprets business requirements or incidents to create a design and coding solution to match the requirements.

+ Tests coded solutions to pass developer quality gates in order to implement a solution to a production environment.

+ Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly either written or orally with customers, business analysts, project managers, management or peers.

+ Collaborates as part of a team to achieve team goals and results

+ Supports colleagues with a variety of tasks and projects to meet deadlines.

+ Applies critical thinking relative to analysis, planning and implementation of business initiatives.

+ Follows DevOps best practices

+ Collaborates on efficient design solutions with global outlook

+ Creates technical specifications

+ Assesses new technologies before adoption and implementation

+ Performs Risk analysis

+ Adopt Agile methodologies to develop software

+ Continually monitors systems performance

Experience:  

+ Demonstrates good business and product design capability

+ Ability to lead or mentor other technical team members

+ Continuously identifies opportunities to improve technical debt through recommendations and/or coding opportunities

+ Collaborates on efficient design solutions with reuse

+ Creates technical specifications

+ Assesses new technologies before adoption and implementation

Qualifications and Skills:  

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,

+ or 5 - 7 years of professional experience in relevant programming languages
