Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking an Android Developer to join their team. As an Android Developer, you will be part of the mobile engineering and development department supporting innovative product teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Android Developer

**Location:** Boston, MA (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

**Position type:** 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

What's the Job?

+ Design and develop prototype Android applications for both internal and external use.

+ Participate in the full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the app store.

+ Collaborate with product teams on new ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimations.

+ Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools through best practices.

+ Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for all features in development.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.

+ 5+ years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and/or Java.

+ Proficient in Core Java and experience with automated testing frameworks like Appium.

+ Extensive knowledge of mobile application design and development on the Android platform.

+ Strong familiarity with code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket.
