The Associate Software Development Engineers build code by
using core agile practices such as "keep it simple," test-driven
development (TDD), continuous integration, polyglot programming, and
microservice design. A SDE focuses on developing and implementing modernized
specialized business applications, deploying to development, test, staging, and
production.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Writecode.
+ Ownquality posture. Write automated tests, ideally before writing code.
+ Workon a team that crafts the solutions to meet functional and technicalrequirements.
+ Alignto Security/Compliance frameworks and controls requirements.
+ Fixproblems from the development phase through the production phase, whichrequires being on call for production support.
+ Collaboratewith the technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensurethat the code that is developed meets their vision.
+ Assistin prototyping and demonstrating new features and components of front-endand back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirements
+ Assistin the design, implementation and optimization of related approaches,tools and workflows.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ 2 years of hands-on experience asa Software Engineer or related technical engineering capacity.
+ Relevant technologies andprogramming languages including Java/J2EE framework, object-orientedprogramming, design patterns and tools, relational DBs, Oracle/UDB, Linux/Unix,Shell Scripting, MS SQL, Windows OS, JQuery, AngularJS, Swagger and Springboot
+ Knowledge of Agile Methodologiesis required, while practical application is highly preferred.
+ Working or formal training in thefull Software Development Lifecycle, building CI/CD pipelines and practicingTest Driven Development is required.
+ Fundamental Awareness ofApplication Security principles or formal training in Information Security isrequired.
+ Experience with source control,build tools and GIT (GitHub, Bitbucket or other) is required.
+ Consistently prioritizes safetyand security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking,and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma,GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age andhas authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Bachelors Degree in ComputerScience, Information Systems or related field.
+ Technical Experience working withDevOps principles, practices, and tools in an enterprise technologyenvironment.
+ Knowledge of software within anAmazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure or other cloud solution
