    Job Description

    An Insight Global client is seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President, GPO and IDN Contracting & Sales to join our Enterprise Sales Team. This executive-level position is responsible for driving growth through strategic contracting relationships with HealthTrust (HT) GPO and their affiliated Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) equity members. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to secure new national contracts, optimize existing agreements, and guide the sales organization in maximizing contract utilization and compliance. Reporting directly to the SVP of Enterprise Sales, you will play a vital role in aligning sales and contracting strategies with the company's commercial goals, helping to expand our footprint in the healthcare provider market. This role will not be responsible for direct reports ad will require 50% travel.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

     

    Lead strategy development and execution for GPO/IDN sales and contracting across HealthTrust and its equity members.

     

    Identify and pursue new contracting opportunities to grow the company's market share.

     

    Strengthen and expand utilization of existing contracts through sales enablement and stakeholder engagement.

     

    Guide and support the sales team to execute commercial agreements and drive contract compliance.

     

    Prepare, negotiate, and manage complex proposals, financial agreements, and RFPs.

     

    Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, commercial operations, and finance to support contract performance and product positioning.

     

    Deliver quarterly business reviews with strategic partners and internal stakeholders to track contract performance.

     

    Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and account activities using Salesforce CRM.

     

    Stay informed of healthcare market dynamics, competitive activity, and evolving GPO/IDN trends.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

     

    Minimum 10 years of progressive sales and leadership experience in the medical device/supplies or healthcare sector.

     

    Proven success in securing and managing national GPO/IDN contracts with large health systems specifically Healthtrust (HT/HCA)

     

    Experience in acute care sales

     

    Previous experience in med surge

     

    Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.

     

    Exceptional skills in project management, negotiation, communication, and data analysis.

     

    Proficiency in financial modeling, sales forecasting, and CRM usage.

     

    Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to travel frequently (>50%).

     

    Must meet credentialing requirements for access to healthcare facilities. MBA or advanced degree in business or healthcare administration.

    Previous regional management or leadership experience null
