Job Description

As an Advanced Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards. Your primary focus will be on handling large datasets efficiently and integrating data from GCP BigQuery. You will work closely with our data engineering and analytics teams to ensure our reporting solutions are robust, scalable, and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect data marts and data flows, optimizing data structures for Power BI documents.

Develop and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for large datasets.

Implement and manage incremental refreshes to optimize report performance.

Collaborate with the ETL team to create a reporting layer that reduces the burden on Power BI and enhances database efficiency.

Utilize advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, Query Folding, Composite Models, and Paginated Reports.

Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure data security.

Architect and integrate CI/CD processes for Power BI code movement with GIT, and educate the department on CI/CD practices.

Integrate data from cloud connections, with a preference for GCP BigQuery, and other solutions such as Azure and Postgres.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong background in large-scale data warehouse reporting.

Expertise in architecting data marts and data flows, and optimizing data structures for Power BI.

In-depth understanding of incremental refreshes and data modeling to optimize report performance.

Advanced skills in DAX, Query Folding, Composite Models, and Paginated Reports.

Highly skilled in implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).

Experience with CI/CD processes and integrating Power BI code movement with GIT.

Proven experience in SQL/NoSQL for Enterprise Data architectures with large data stores.

Ability to teach and guide the department on CI/CD practices.

Experience with cloud connections, particularly GCP BigQuery, and familiarity with Azure and Postgres Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps. null
