    $40/hr - $65/hr

     

    We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. This position is 1 day/week onsite in Ashburn, VA. This position requires an Active DHS Clearance or an Active Top Secret Clearance.

    Responsibilities

    + Meeting with project managers to determine CRM needs.

    + Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.

    + Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.

    + Creating timelines and development goals.

    + Testing the stability and functionality of the application.

    + Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.

    + Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce staff.

    + Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.

    Education and Experience

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant subject

    + 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on user interface development within the Salesforce platform

    + Salesforce Platform Developer Credential

    Required Skills

    + Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development

    + Experience with data driven applications and relational databases

    + Experience and expertise in core web technologies including HTML5, Javascript and jQuery

    + Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing)

    + Software engineering skills with Java SE & EE (Java, JSF, SQL) preferred

    + Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) and Lighting Component Framework

    + Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools

    + Experience with Agile development methodologies such as XP/SCRUM

    + Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)

    + Familiar with testing, debugging, and deploying code into multiple available environments

    Desired Skills

    + Experience working on Salesforce platforms or other CRM software packages (Microsoft CRM, InterAction, SalesLogix, Oracle On-Demand, SAP etc.) preferred

    + Additional SalesForce Developer Credentials desired
