    Northrop Grumman Marine Systems has an opening for an Operations Supervisor who will lead a team of Professionals and Represented employees providing direct support to Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT), TRIDENT Training Facility, TRIDENT Refit Facility, and Naval Submarine Support Center at Naval Base Kings Bay, GA. This is an on-site position.

     

    Supervisor will oversee fleet technical support operations on Northrop Grumman Marine Systems provided Trident II Launcher Equipment, Launcher Handling/Support Equipment, and Trident SSGN equipment.

     

    Duties include: direct supervision of 7 personnel, ensure contractual requirements are met; implementation of customer-driven plans and schedules; maintaining status reports; equipment readiness to support mission requirements; provide technical and planning inputs; Ensure quality systems, logistics, government property and personnel safety programs are followed per higher order guidance/direction (Launcher Operations Manual). Periodic shiftwork and travel is required to support customer requirements.

     

    **Qualifications** :

    Basic Qualifications:

    - BS degree and 8+ years demonstrated leadership experience.

     

    - Must have demonstrated leadership abilities in a technical role and proven team building skills

     

    - Demonstrated competency in the use of office computers and Microsoft Office applications

     

    - Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain customer relations, coordination within functional organizations and

     

    management of customer resources

     

    - Excellent verbal and written communications skills required

     

    - Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    - BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Hard Science)

     

    - Experience operating in a government-owned/contractor operated (GOCO) facility

     

    - Experience with Strategic System Program (SSP) operations and the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program

    Salary Range: $105,800.00 - $158,600.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
