Job Summary

Are you an experienced janitorial professional looking for a leadership opportunity? We are seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities while leading a team of custodians. This role ensures that all areas, including bathrooms, hallways, and kitchens, are kept clean and safe. If you have strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do

+ Ensure that bathrooms, hallways, kitchens, and other facility areas are clean and well-maintained.

+ Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.

+ Respond to maintenance requests, including minor repairs.

+ Move furniture as needed.

+ Unpack and restock supplies in cafeterias and kitchenettes.

+ Supervise and support custodial staff, ensuring work is completed to high standards.

+ Monitor work quality and ensure thoroughness and accuracy.

+ Oversee safety practices and step in as a substitute custodian when necessary.

You're an Ideal Candidate If You Have:

+ High School Diploma or GED required (a combination of education and experience will be considered).

+ 2-4 years of janitorial experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

+ A valid driver’s license (preferred, with fewer than 6 points on record).

+ Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities with a positive approach.

+ Strong leadership skills, including training and supervising custodial staff.

+ Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and listening.

+ Customer-focused mindset, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all.

+ Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds.

+ Knowledge of janitorial software (JAMS Droid apps preferred).

Compensation

$22.00 per hour
