Seeking: Growth-Minded Senior Accountant in Columbia, SC

Our client is a dynamic and growing company seeking a Senior Accountant who brings strong accounting skills, a business mindset, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks. This is a key role with room to grow as the company scales—perfect for someone who wants more than just a routine accounting job.

• What You'll Do:

+ Own the monthly close process: journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

+ Maintain and improve QuickBooks accounting workflows and reporting

+ Prepare insightful financial reports to support business decision-making

+ Ensure accuracy across accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis

+ Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices

Requirements

• What You Bring:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (small business or startup experience a plus)

+ Fluent in QuickBooks Online; strong Excel skills

+ Deep understanding of accounting principles and general ledger management

+ Self-starter attitude with a bias toward action and continuous improvement

+ Comfortable in a changing environment where priorities shift as company grows
