We are looking for a skilled Family Law Attorney to join a reputable law firm in Manassas, Virginia. This position offers an exciting opportunity to handle a wide range of family law cases, including straightforward and complex matters, while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, empathy, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload involving family law matters such as divorce, custody, visitation, child and spousal support, and equitable distribution.

• Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, and discovery responses.

• Develop case strategies and guide clients through the legal process from intake to resolution.

• Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on family law regulations and trends.

• Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys to address complex legal issues.

• Provide clear and consistent communication with clients to ensure they are informed throughout their case.

• Prepare clients for court appearances and settlement discussions.

• Advocate for clients in negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in Virginia and in good standing.

• At least 1–2 years of experience specializing in Virginia family law.

• Demonstrated courtroom experience and strong litigation abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and legal analysis.

• High level of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.

• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
