Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the West Metro. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in fixed asset and lease accounting, as well as a solid background in general accounting practices. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and bring innovative ideas to improve processes and drive efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and maintenance across global entities.

• Oversee lease accounting tasks, including maintaining lease schedules and ensuring compliance.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

• Collaborate with international teams to align accounting processes and maintain consistency.

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and general ledger management.

• Analyze and refine legacy accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to streamline reporting and reconciliation tasks.

• Assist in driving standardization of global accounting procedures and practices.

• Partner with operations and other departments to improve overall financial workflows.

• Handle accounting tasks related to systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on fixed asset and lease accounting.

• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger management.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Strong critical thinking abilities and a curiosity to question and improve processes.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle high transaction volumes.

• Comfortable collaborating with international teams and adapting to global operations.
