REPORTS TO: Slaughter General Foreman

JOB SUMMARY

Manage the Slaughter Department staff and activities, including the daily production for the kill floor, offal, variety by products, and feet areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Expertise in the kill floor, offal, variety by products, and feet areas as well as government statutes, laws and regulations and company policies, procedures and guidelines.

+ Manage daily production in kill floor, offal, variety by products, and feet areas

+ Measure and report daily yields and downtime

+ Responsible for associates discipline and turnover

+ Ability to communicate with USDA inspectors

+ Monitor and implement the department goals

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ 5 + years supervisory experience on all areas of the kill floor, offal, and variety products.

+ Ability to work in a hot environment

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

+ Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;

+ 401(k): eligible after 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule

+ Base salary range of **$67,200 - $82,688**

+ This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
