Sr. Snowflake/Python Developer

In this role, you will:
Develop test and maintain ETL pipelines (using Data Butler) using Snowflake and Python.
Design and implement data pipeline solutions using Snowflake and Python.
Manage code repositories and perform code check-ins using GitLab.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Python applications and Snowflake data warehousing and perform validation testing.
Ensure code quality and maintain best practices for version control.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in city, state. What you need to have to be considered
• Possess extensive experience in Snowpark Azure Functions and Snowflake technologies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Python and Azure DevOps for solution development and automation.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable architectures.
• Show excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
• Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

**Salary and Other Compensation** :
Applications will be accepted until June 27, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
