Position Summary: The Controller will be responsible for the full cycle of accounting operations across all entities ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in real estate accounting and be proficient in Sage 300. This role works closely with ownership and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

+ Oversee accounting functions for six real estate entities

+ Manager G/L, A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions

+ Maintain and enhance reporting in Sage 300; ensure integrity of financial data

+ Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

+ Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors and legal counsel as needed

+ Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting

+ Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures

+ Support property managers

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting a plus

+ Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management

+ Strong proficiency in Sage 300 (Timberline) is preferred

+ Experience with multi-entity financial reporting and consolidation

+ Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

+ Detail oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance
