Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Imaging or related field of study required (4 years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree)
Experience
+ 3 Years of experience as a Radiology Technician in multiple modalities or PACS experience required,
+ 1 year field service experience preferred.
**Position Responsibilities** -
• Provides onsite and virtual day to day PACS operations management.
• Co-ordinates interface between the PACS, RIS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Reporting - Provides management and statistical reporting, including ad hoc report development.
• Information Technology Department Duties
**Skills:** Applications, such as database used for patient logging procedures and work processing and spreadsheets for statistical purposes required. Requires use of PC computers; ability to reason, process, communicate; requires knowledge of ADA, EEOC, hospital and department guidelines, and HIPPA requirements.
