NEW DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPING STATE OF THE ART HYPERSONIC & RADAR SYSTEMS FOR A TOP AEROSPACE & DEFENSE COMPANY
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role involves the research, design, and development of electrical equipment and systems. You will conduct experiments and evaluate results in areas such as radar and radiation detection equipment, radio, television, and other communications circuitry components, as well as analog and digital computers and control/test equipment. Your work will influence the development of solutions that impact strategic project goals and business results. You will recommend and develop new technical solutions, products, and standards in support of strategic operations.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct experiments and evaluate results in radar and radiation detection equipment, radio, television, and other communications circuitry components.
+ Develop and innovate solutions through research and integration of best practices.
+ Communicate with executive leadership on matters of significant importance to the organization or project.
+ Lead and manage technical staff to achieve significant project results.
+ Influence development of solutions impacting strategic project goals and business results.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
+ In-depth understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
+ Experience in electrical engineering, signal processing, and algorithm development.
+ Proficiency in Matlab and Python.
+ Experience with digital signal processing, FPGA, and DSP algorithms.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 12-15 years of experience or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of experience.
+ Doctorate in a technical domain is advantageous.
+ Experience with the Department of Defense (DOD) is preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $100.00/hr.
