Full Time Probationary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (or other relevant graduate-level business degree) from an accredited college or university. Must have daytime availability to teach on-campus sections and previous experience and/or a desire to engage in distance learning initiatives.

Classes will be on the HVCC Troy, NY campus. Instructor will teach a variety of business courses offered at the college.

Preferred Qualifications: Post-secondary teaching experience preferred. Experience with online delivery systems (D2L Brightspace) highly desirable.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide classroom instruction in the Business Department.

• Teach a variety of business courses – Introduction to Business, Organization & Management, Organizational Leadership, Business Communications, Introduction to Sports Management, Business Capstone and Marketing courses.

• Evaluate student performance.

• Participation on departmental, division-wide, and college-wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged.

• At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the faculty contract.

The Salary for this academic year position is $52,500.
