    Duties: Produce business and technical architecture artifacts to aid business in decision making as well as satisfy audit requirements, including but not limited to product and business solution options, product evaluations, design decision logs, architectural assessment frameworks, blueprint and pattern design, and logical and deployment architecture diagrams. Represent a product family for technical and solution governance as well as sit on the product cabinet advising on product direction. Contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle. Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Solutions Architect, Senior IT Consultant, Senior Software Developer, IT Architect, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Solutions Architect, Senior IT Consultant, Senior Software Developer, IT Architect, or related occupation.

     

    Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: translating business requirements into robust and scalable integration solutions; formulating design methodologies, coding standards and defining best practices to improve quality deliverables; producing integration architecture and strategy documents; end to end project handling from requirements, estimation, design, development and production support; designing and building cloud native microservice application architectures using Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, Tomcat, Kubernetes, and relational databases including at least 1 of the following: Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or SQL Server. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: defining the design principles and frameworks; designing and building application and service-oriented architectures (SOA) and design deployment topologies using containerization platforms including RedHat OpenShift Platform; building web application architectures using Java, Oracle, Tomcat, and K18s/Kubernetes; Pivotal Cloud Foundry hosting and AWS public cloud architecture; designing and building applications using Hadoop and Mongo DB or another NoSQL database; building loosely coupled application architectures using Kafka for Event Streaming and IBM MQ and Apigee. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: creating component design, server topology and deployment diagram; translating complex business requirements into functional and technical components; working with technical team to define overall system architecture that is secure, scalable and reusable and ensuring technologies and tools are up-to-date.

     

    Job Location: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
