    Function of Position:

    This position will assist in the scanning and documenting of all college drawings and digitize accordingly. There will be times when the drawings need repair before scanning. The student hired will assist in the repair and scanning of the documents. For students who are enrolled in a degree program in construction management or civil engineering he or she will have an opportunity to visit current construction sites on campus as a learning opportunity.

     

    This is a Federal Work Study position. Eligible applicants MUST have received prior approval from the Financial Aid Office. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact Financial Aid before applying.

    Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:

    Repair drawings, scan historical documents, and digitize all documents in building folders.

    Job Requirements:

    Required Qualifications:

    + Applicants must be Federal Work Study eligible (you can confirm your eligibility with a Financial Aid representative)

    + Experience with Microsoft Suite

    + Strong communication skills, attention to detail, accountable, strong work ethic, can work independently, time management skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Currently enrolled students in a degree program in construction management or civil engineering

    + Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently

    Additional Information:

    Pay Rate: $15.50/hour

     

    Hours per week: Up to 20 hours/week
