    We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer in a Cloud Engineering environment. This Chief Engineer will be required to deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. This Chief Engineer will be expected to help provide Enterprise Computing Engineering services to include modern application technology and containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery will also be required of the team.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

     

    We are actively seeking candidates that have a minimum of 10 years' relevant cloud experience, and minimum 3 years Solutions Architect experience. Bachelor's or Master s Degree are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following:

     

    + Cloud engineer must have 1-2 of the follow cloud providers: AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Oracle

    + System level integration and test of systems and subsystems

    + System verification and validation

    + Definition of system specifications, design, integration approach, and hardware/software compatibility.

    + Preparation, installation and maintenance of system components.

    + Post-install and post-upgrade system analysis and reporting

    + Creation and updates of technical documentation.

    + Virtualization experience (VDI & VMWare)

    + Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, IBM)

    + Agile software development life-cycle.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Cloud architectures and services

    + Integration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques

    + Integration of MS Office and MS Office 365

    + Developing integration interface across JAVA, .NET, C and similar platforms.

    + Continuous integration, test automation and / or SecDevOps on iterative development projects

    + Assist with leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud, on premise, and hybrid services, infrastructure and security domains

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
