    Tax Documentation Analyst

     

    Salt Lake City, UT – Onsite

     

    $47-55K/year

     

    We’re seeking a **Tax Documentation Analyst** to join the tax operations team of a leading global financial institution. This position focuses on U.S. tax documentation and compliance, supporting client onboarding, regulatory reporting, and internal operational workflows.

     

    This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background or interest in **accounting, tax, or financial compliance** to develop hands-on experience in a structured, fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Review U.S. tax documentation (e.g., W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E) for completeness and compliance

    + Respond to internal and client inquiries related to tax forms and withholding requirements

    + Provide operational support during client onboarding, with a focus on tax documentation

    + Identify and resolve exceptions or errors in documentation workflows

    + Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate and timely tax reporting

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred)

    + Strong attention to detail with analytical and critical thinking skills

    + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain regulatory requirements clearly

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Familiarity with U.S. tax forms (W-9/W-8) or knowledge of KYC/client onboarding processes

    + Exposure to tools such as SQL or Alteryx is a plus but not required
