As an AI Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying solutions that leverage large language models (LLMs), Generative AI, and natural language processing (NLP) to enhance customer and agent experiences. This includes developing intelligent automation, AI-powered services, and supporting teams in the responsible and effective use of AI technologies.
Success in this role requires creativity, a passion for learning, and the ability to clearly explain complex ideas. You’ll join a team that values curiosity, open communication, and a strong commitment to responsible AI—working together to create smart, impactful tools that make a real difference.
Accountabilities:
• Build and deploy LLMs and Generative AI models for tasks like document summarization, content generation, and answering questions.
• Create and improve NLP pipelines using tools like Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, LangChain, or similar.
• Work with teams to find the right AI use cases and build quick prototypes that can scale.
• Develop smart automation tools to improve processes in areas like underwriting, claims, and customer support.
• Create APIs and services that connect AI models to real applications.
• Use tools like SageMaker, MLflow, or Vertex AI to automate model training, testing, and monitoring.
• Ensure AI solutions are secure, reliable, and easy to explain, and follow ethical and legal guidelines.
• Help organize and prepare data for AI using Spark, Airflow, and other pipeline tools.
• Build and maintain data pipelines that move and transform data between systems, data warehouses, and AI platforms.
• Support data lake and data warehouse development efforts to ensure AI models have access to clean, well-structured data.
• Support basic DevOps work—such as containerizing models with Docker, using Kubernetes, and integrating into CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay up to date with AI trends, test new tools, and bring new ideas to the team.
