    Description

    SAIC seeks an experienced Reliability Availability Maintainability Data Analyst for the Ground-Based Radar (GBR) Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) contract. GMASS supports the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of five Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWR), and one Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS). The ground-based radars are critical to US and Allied strategic missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness missions. The Data Analyst will have strong skills in data analytics, metrics, and statistical analytics activities with the GMASS program teams (e.g., Integrated Product Support, Depot Maintenance, etc.). This position is in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

    Job Duties:

    + Develop or apply mathematical or statistical theory and methods to collet, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provide usable information.

    + Develop scripts and tools to automate data quality checks and support ongoing data hygiene within Power BI.

    + Apply statistical methods like Weibull, Bayesian analysis, MTBF estimations, Monte Carlo simulations (if required), and regression analysis - ideally in a reliability engineering context.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience.

    + **Must have an active Secret clearance.**

    + Experience with Python, Statistics and Power BI.

    Desired:

    + Educational background in statistics or engineering.

    + Understanding of MTBF, MTTF, Operational Availability, Failure Modes, and maintenance data trends.

     

    Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
