    What You Will Do:

    + Contribute expertiseon manufacturing processesincluding: equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, andwork flow

    + Develop/implement control plans

    + Identify process improvements opportunities using analysis, modeling, benchmarking, research, etc.

    + Conduct researchon cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems

    + Provide measurable input into the sequence of operations and work instructions

    + Developandimprove standard work

    + Contribute to plans for allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to establish maximum utilization

    + Prepare project cost estimates and cost benefit analysis to validate cost against pertinent business plan(s) and program expectations

    + Achieve economic goals for complex systems and products in production and/or under development

    + Program, integrate, and validate/verify new manufacturing equipment

    + Review processes and tooling to drive improvements thateliminate risks related to quality, safety, and producibility (e.g.process failure mode effect analysis)

    + Manage small projects or processes

    + Use various software packages to maintain and update documents and records

    + Minimal travel involved

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations or equivalent experience and minimum **5** years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of **3** years of experience

    + Prior experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization techniques

    + Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of lean principles, including process flow optimization

    + Experience leading a project and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including factory operators, peers, and management

    The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
