• Credit Analyst

    Sysco (Landover, MD)


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Reviews, analyzes and approves or denies customer credit applications.

    + Manages credit hold policy, reviewing customer account status, payment and collections.

    + Provides communications to MAs (marketing associates), on customer accounts. Handles escalated collection accounts.

    + Performs regular review of customer files to manage risk and remain compliant with audit controls.

    + Makes recommendations on bad debt management.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    + Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Finance or Accounting Preferred

    Experience

    + Entry Level Position

    Professional Skills

    + Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Word and Excel

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Must be able to read, write and speak English

    + Must be able to analyze data and draw logical conclusions and recommendations from the data
