    NTT DATA Services currently seeks REMOTE **Healthcare Coding Auditors** to join our team for a 4+ month contract role.

     

    Fully remote-MUST be able to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST

     

    Pay rate $25.00 per hour

     

    In this role the Coding Quality Auditor will be responsible for validating and reviewing Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) risk adjustable charts through retrospective chart reviews. The role focuses on ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant ICD-10 coding for risk adjustment submission to CMS. Candidates must apply clinical documentation standards and industry guidelines to support coding decisions. This role contributes to audit accuracy, process improvements, and helps maintain compliance with state/federal regulations and internal policies.

    Required Experience:

    + 3+ years of healthcare coding/audit experience.

    + 3+ years ICD-10-CM coding experience with strong understanding of HCC risk adjustment

    + 3+ years CMS coding guidelines and HIPAA-compliant data handling

    + 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office tools

    + 3+ years experience with industry-standard coding platforms

    Preferred experience:

    Attention to detail and accuracy in retrospective chart reviews

     

    Prior experience in retrospective risk adjustment audits and validation

    Education:

    AA/AS degree or equivalent experience. Completion of an AAPC or AHIMA coding program (e.g., CPC, CCS-P, CRC)

    Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is **$25.00.** This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
