_The Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Resettlement Programs Office (RPO) supports the effective resettlement of refugees in Minnesota by helping them meet their basic needs to that they can live in dignity and achieve their highest potential. As a member of the Fiscal and Operations Team in RPO, this position coordinates and provides administrative support for the RPO program._
_Under limited supervision, this position develops and implements procedures and guidelines to govern complex administrative processes, interprets agency policies and procedures, and serves as the assistant to the Director of RPO._
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
+ Provide administrative support for RPO managers, supervisors, and staff.
+ Provide administrative support to the Director of RPO.
+ Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to govern complex administrative processes.
+ Serve as Technical Service Liaison (TSL) for RPO to afford efficient daily access to business-critical data and basic communication tools.
Minimum Qualifications

+ Desktop or website publishing skills sufficient to utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite products (Adobe, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PPT, etc.) or similar software.
+ Typing/keyboarding skills sufficient to complete a variety of reports, letters and data summaries.
+ Customer service skills sufficient to provide information to wide range of clientele, including phone calls and e-mail contacts in helpful and courteous manner.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience managing critical communications and schedules of multiple team members.
+ Ability to set, manage and modify priorities and efficiently manage time and resources.
+ Analysis/problem solving skills needed to research, troubleshoot, contain and resolve problems that have the potential to escalate if not resolved.
+ Highly adaptable to change and can rapidly adjust to changes in policy, process and protocol.
+ Understands, and applies laws associated with data privacy and confidentiality.
+ Knowledge to manage office procedures and work systems
+ Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
