Lead Personal Care Assistant
**Location:** Coatesville PA
**Status:** Full time
**Shift:** Monday **-** Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and every other weekend
Position Purpose:
Responsible for delivering personal care and support to participants, ensuring their health and well-being. Assists the department manager with scheduling and staffing and provides guidance and support to team members as needed.
Position Purpose:
Position will work in the facility as well as completing home care assignments.
What you will do:
+ Supporting and guiding fellow colleagues and orienting new team members
+ Assisting the department manager with scheduling and staffing
+ Escorting participants to medical and therapy appointments
+ Monitoring and reporting changes in participants’ condition or behavior
+ Ensuring compliance with infection control, safety, and organizational policies
+ Maintaining timely and accurate documentation
+ Participating in care planning and staff meetings
+ Assisting with loading/unloading of participants in transport vehicles
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ CNA certification preferred
+ Supervisory experience preferred
+ Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle required for home visits
+ Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly individuals preferred; training provided if less onsite after hire
+ Excellent organizational and customer service skills
+ Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to adapt to change, manage and be flexible with work priorities, and pay attention to detail
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with electronic communication and documentation systems
