    Job Description

    An employer is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their growing team to support a critical effort for TRANSCOM. This role will be one of five positions on the team, but will be the only data engineer. This role will leverage Databricks, Python and Palantir. Active DoD Secret or TS is required to begin assignment.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3+ years of professional experience in a data engineering role, working with Python and SQL

     

    - Experience with Databricks

     

    - Experience with data pipeline development using tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, etc.

     

    - Experience with cloud platforms

     

    - Excellent communication skills

     

    - Able to work 100% on site at Scott Air Force Base, IL

     

    - Active DoD Secret Clearance (TS accepted) - Bachelor's degree in IT or related field

     

    - Experience with Palantir Ontology

     

    - Experience with Maven Smart Systems or similar platforms

    - Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes null
