What you’ll do as an Equipment Operator

+ Safely operates drill equipment on jobsite which may include but not limited to the following: Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer

+ Restores and/or landscapes disturbed areas of the jobsite

+ Will develop and maintain a bore schedule

+ Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up

+ Load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck

+ Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis – JSA prior to starting construction

+ Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic

+ May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed

+ Ability to follow instructions

What you’ll need

+ Must have at minimum Class C Regular Driver's License

+ Class A Commercial Driver’s License Preferred

+ To be 18 years of age or older

+ Authorization to work in the United States for this company

+ High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience

+ Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

+ Experience with drill set up and design processes, is preferred

+ Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools

+ Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions

+ Must have an acceptable driving record

+ Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities

+ Must have good troubleshooting and problem solving skills

+ Must be very safety conscientious

Physical abilities & exposures

+ Routinely : c limb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds

+ Occasionally: work in confined spaces, use ladder, keyboard and mouse

Salary Range: $28 .00 - $32.00 / hour, depending on experience
