The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Senior Enterprise Structures Software Developer** to join the team in **Chicago, IL** .
Join our dynamic computing team within the Boeing Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) Product Design organization, where you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and integration of software tools that support the Enterprise Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Engineering organizations.
In this exciting role, you will focus on developing software for the Mechanical Structures Engineering portfolio of applications that facilitate airplane design and development. As part of a collaborative team of software developers and engineers, you will work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile team, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Additionally, you will engage with business team members to align software development efforts with organizational goals. If you’re passionate about software development and eager to make a significant impact in the aerospace industry, we want you on our team!
Position Responsibilities:
+ Work with system and/or technical architects, and business subject matter experts (SMEs) to design systems and applications to meet highly complex business needs
+ Work as part of Agile teams using Scaled Agile Framework
+ Work with Product Owners to understand business needs and define application requirements
+ Code, test, debug, implement, deploy, document and maintain software applications
+ Employ Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) DevOps processes with Azure DevOps/TFS and/or Gitlab
+ Engage in pair programming and conduct peer reviews
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ 10+ years of experience in working with agile teams and agile software development
+ 10+ years of experience working with Linux, Windows, Slack, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Ivy, Ant, Make, Travis CI, JUnit, Cloud Foundry, PagerDuty, OpenID Connect, JxBrowser, JCEF, and/or Spring Boot
+ Experience with application development in one or more programming languages such as C#/C-Sharp, .NET, Java, C, C++, FORTRAN and Web/HTML technologies (Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, web services, REST, microservices etc.), Config Management tools like Azure DevOps(ADO)/TFS, Git and others
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
+ Experience with Cloud development in Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) development
+ Experience with database design, development of queries in Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL
+ Experience with development and deployment on Cloud platforms such as Azure, PCF, OpenShift and AWS

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $121,550 – $164,450
