    Robert Half is searching for an ERP Systems Manager to support a municipality in Eugene, OR. This ERP Systems Manager will be responsible for ongoing and upcoming projects involving people modules. This position is a 6 month contract and is Hybrid in Eugene, OR. Apply today!

    Job Details:

    Duration: 6 month contract

     

    Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5PM

     

    Pay: $62-67/hourly

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Manages all aspects of ERP-related projects; participates in the development of project goals and teams, determines scope and staging of project phases and crafts communications plan to keep key stakeholders informed about the project status and potential impacts on users.

    + Oversees and manages procurement function for the complete lifecycle of ERP, including negotiation of license and support agreements; procurement of related goods and services, management of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and other competitive procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with the procurement policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state procurement laws and regulations.

    + Coordinates with functional staff on system-related projects including new releases, adoption and implementation of new functionality, and business process configuration changes.

    + Builds cross-departmental relationships and support in order to ensure work toward common system objectives. Interfaces with department staff and users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives, current operational procedures, software system problems, and solutions.

    + Responsible for the overall ERP System budget, including identification of funding sources, preparation of budget requests, monitoring spending versus budget, cash flow forecasting and recommending course corrections, if needed.

    + Report on ERP financials to the Corporate Software Policy Team and other stakeholders; participates in the development and periodic updates of the Corporate Software Fund multi-year forecast.

    + Facilitates project team and policy team meetings to review progress and present risks including issues and constraints that are impeding or may impede successful project completion.

    + Analyzes complex, non-standard or unclear information, identifies various approaches and alternatives to design and processes, develops recommendations, and document decisions.

    + Assists with development and delivery of training and documentation for software updates to the organization; implements change management processes to enable users to adjust to new features, modules and business processes.

    + Performs the full range of customer relationship activities, including fostering knowledge sharing between different departments to support cross-functional efficiencies.

    + Researches and stays informed of developments and best practices in ERP technology and key businesses processes. Engages with peers, advisory firms, and professional organizations to develop a forward-thinking approach and bring industry best practices to the ERP software.

    + Identifies and champions business process improvements supported by the ERP system in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

    Requirements

    + Extensive experience working with large-scale PeopleSoft ERP systems.

    + Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional Financial and HR teams and senior stakeholders.

    + Skilled in managing user expectations and communicating effectively across departments.

    + Experienced in Change Management initiatives.

    + Experience managing the entire PeopleSoft program, including: Developing and maintaining roadmaps.
