Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager, Decision Science, Risk Data & Analytics professional to improve our approach to B2B credit risk management, fraud prevention, pricing strategies, and profitability with a global fintech company. The ideal candidate will combine advanced statistical modeling expertise with a strong understanding of business credit principles to provide actionable insights that drive optimal outcomes. This role also entails collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality solutions and actionable recommendations to senior management. Key Responsibilities:

Build and optimize statistical and predictive models aimed at improving risk posture (fraud and credit), pricing framework, and financial performance.

Develop a Model Development Framework to standardize and document consistent modeling practices across the Risk Management team.

Continuously monitor, evaluate, and refine risk and pricing strategies based on performance metrics versus expectations.

Analyze customer behavior, competitor pricing, and industry trends to deliver strategies that boost market share and profitability.

Extract, cleanse, and analyze both internal and external datasets to support next-level credit risk and pricing strategies, covering everything from new account onboarding to existing portfolio management.

Create and enhance a Portfolio Risk Assessment reporting system, highlighting Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), trends, and forecasts for executive leadership.

Deliver high-quality, data-driven insights to key stakeholders through concise presentations that translate complex data into actionable strategies.

Conduct in-depth data exploration and validation, identify data quality issues, and suggest improvements.

Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to remove project roadblocks and ensure seamless execution.

Partner with internal and external Data Scientists to provide clean, actionable datasets to advance predictive modeling and analytical capabilities.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.

Experience: A minimum of 8 years in a data-heavy and analytical environment, involving complex business analyses and delivering actionable insights for senior leaders.

Subject Matter Expertise: Strong knowledge of B2B credit or Business Banking credit risk, pricing principles, and profitability optimization.

Skillset: Proficiency in extracting, cleaning, and interpreting diverse datasets. Advanced skills in tools such as SAS, Python, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau/Sisense (or other data visualization software). Strong ability to present complex findings in a simplified, meaningful way using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Skilled at identifying data patterns, trends, and recommending process improvements.

Other Traits: Highly collaborative and flexible mindset, able to adapt to changing priorities. Strong multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
