    We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team of professionals to provide exceptional quality, compassionate healthcare in a progressive and integrated healthcare environment. You will join the largest rehabilitation and sports medicine team in the Western Upper Peninsula and assist in providing evidence based care.

     

    UP Health System - Portage is located in the Houghton/Hancock community near Lake Superior, home to Michigan Technological University.     *Position Requirements:*

     

    Graduate of a discipline required

     

    Bachelor’ degree required

     

    Masters’ degree preferred

     

    Doctoral degree preferred

     

    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in outpatient services preferred

     

    Specialty certifications preferred

     

    State of Michigan Physical Therapist license required

     

    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (available upon hire)

    Annual influenza vaccination or declination required

    0.9 FTE (36 hours per week)

     

    Day shift

     

    Mainly weekdays with weekend rotation

    Will work primarily in outpatient clinic in Houghton
